LES SIRÈNES

Ženský komorný zbor Les Sirènes bol založený v roku 2018 pri nemocnici a kláštore Milosrdní bratia. Od roku 2019 zbor funguje ako samostatné teleso a zakladateľom, zbormajstrom a umeleckým vedúcim je Lukáš Kunst. Repertoár telesa je rozsiahly a zahŕňa všetky druhy a žánre; jeho významnú časť tvorí slovenská a česká hudba (Suchoň, Hrušovský, Špilák, Dvořák, Martinů, Eben, Janáček atď.), svetový klasický zborový repertoár, ako aj muzikálová a populárna tvorba. Les Sirènes si zakladajú na kvalitnej interpretácii, vysokej hlasovej kultúre, intonačnej a rytmickej precíznosti s veľkou dávkou muzikality, čo dokazujú viaceré ocenenia na medzinárodných zborových súťažiach: Bratislava Cantat II (2018, zlaté pásmo a víťazstvo vo svojej kategórii), Slovakia Cantat (2022, zlatá medaila), Svátky písní – International Choir Festival Olomouc (2022, zlatá medaila; 2023 – dve zlaté medaily) a World Peace Choral Festival vo Viedni (2023 – zlatá medaila). Zbor pravidelne účinkuje s poprednými inštrumentálnymi súbormi ako The Ladies Ensemble, Hilaris Chamber Orchestra, Haydnov komorný orchester, Ensemble Band, The House Band of Les Sirènes a so sólistami ako Dominika Hanko, Sisa Sklovská, Otokar Klein, Peter Mikuláš, Pavol Kubáň, Martin Gyimesi, David Árva, Eva Dovcová a ď. Od roku 2022 zbor Les Sirènes úzko spolupracuje s MČ Bratislava-Staré Mesto.

The women's chamber choir Les Sirènes was established in 2018 at the “Milosrdní bratia“ hospital and monastery. The choir has become an individual ensemble since 2019 with Lukáš Kunst as its founder, choirmaster and artistic director. The repertoire of the choir has an exceptionally wide range and includes all types and genres of music – a big part is represented by Slovak and Czech music (by Suchoň, Hrušovský, Špilák, Dvořák, Martinů, Eben, Janáček , etc.), also classic choir repertoire, as well as many musicals and pop works of art. Les Sirènes choir is characterized by its interpretative quality, intonation and rhythmic precision with a great amount of musicality. This has been proven by the results of their frequent participation in international choral competitions – a golden award and victory for the choir in its category in 2018 at the International Choir Competition Bratislava Cantat II, followed by winning gold at the Slovakia Cantat competition in 2022, as well as a golden medal awarded in the same year at the 49 th Svátky písní – International Choir Festival Olomouc. In 2023 the choir managed to win two golden medals at the before-mentioned competition in Olomouc. The choir also cooperates with various instrumental ensembles such as The Haydn Chamber Orchestra, The Ensemble Band, The House Band of Les Sirènes, The Ladies Ensemble or Hilaris Chamber Orchestra as well as with soloists like Dominika Hanko, Sisa Sklovská, Otokar Klein, Peter Mikuláš, Pavol Kubáň, Martin Gyimesi, David Árva, Eva Dovcová and others. Since 2022 Les Sirènes have been closely collaborating with the Bratislava-Staré Mesto municipality.

SIRÉNČATÁ

Detský spevácky zbor Sirénčatá vznikol v roku 2023 pri mestskej časti Bratislava-Staré Mesto s ambíciou podporiť formovanie nových generácií zborových spevákov a nadviazať tak na tradície zborového spevu na Slovensku. Členmi telesa sa stali deti vo veku 6 až 12 rokov, ktoré boli vybrané na základe konkurzov realizovaných v jarných mesiacoch na pôde bratislavských staromestských základných škôl. Nácviky zboru sa začali konať v septembri 2023 a mladí speváci sa stretávajú dvakrát týždenne. Detský spevácky zbor Sirénčatá úzko spolupracuje s partnerskými staromestskými telesami, ženským zborom Les Sirenès a mužským zborom Les Marins a napriek krátkemu času svojej existencie má už za sebou viacero vystúpení. Zakladateľom a dirigentom zboru je Lukáš Kunst.

The children's choir called Sirénčatá (The Little Sirens) was founded in 2023 at the Bratislava old city municipality quarter with the ambition of forming a new generation of singers and ensuring a sustainable continuation of choir singing traditions at the Slovak music scene. The children, aged 6-12 years, were chosen in auditions across state schools of Bratislava in the spring and thus became members of the new choir. Their rehearsals have started in September 2023 and our young singers regularly meet for two sessions per week. The Sirénčatá choir cooperates closely with both the original female choir Les Sirenès and the new addition, the male choir Les Marins and despite its short existence, the children choir has already performed a couple of times. The founder and conductor of the choir is Lukáš Kunst.

LUKÁŠ KUNST

Lukáš Kunst sa venoval spevu najprv v detskom zbore Kantiléna pri Filharmónii Brno, kde účinkoval napr. ako detský sólista v pražskom Rudolfíne a Národnom divadle Brno. Potom študoval operný spev u MgA. Ireny Vašíčkovej-Pollini a organ u MgA. Zdeňka Špatky. Operný spev ďalej študoval na Cirkevnom konzervatóriu a na Konzervatóriu v Bratislave. Dirigovanie študoval súkromne u Yevgenia Galatenka a na Medzinárodnom konzervatóriu v Prahe. V roku 2012 dirigoval na Novej scéne v Bratislave muzikál Mozart. Je spoluzakladateľom Komornej opery Bratislava, pôsobil aj ako jej hudobný riaditeľ a dirigent. V súčasnosti je zbormajstrom ženského zboru Les Sirènes.

Conductor / Leader

Lukáš Kunst has started his career as a singer in children choir Kantiléna in Brno. Lukáš studied opera singing at State and Church conservatories in Bratislava, took conducting classes in Prague at International conservatory, and consultancy of choir conducting in Bratislava. Currently, Lukáš is a student of a private conservatory PinkHarmony in Zvolen. In 2012, he prepared choir of Bratislava Church conservatory for a musical Mozart, performed in theater Nová Scéna. He collaborated in various music projects with slovak music schools (Hommage a Anna Hrušovská, Kvapka Nádeje, Christmas concert on Bratislava castle), and established Chamber Opera Bratislava in 2014. Over the years, Lukáš cooperated with famous slovak singers as Sisa Sklovská, Terézia Kružliaková, Otakar Klein, Mirka Partlová, Božena Ferancová, Dušan Jarjabek, Ludo Ludha, Jana Bernáthová and many more. In 2016, he introduced his author debut piece, musical-drama performance HOPE in Handlová, with focus on world humanity issues. In June 2018, Lukáš has founded women's chamber choir Les Sirènes and prepares the ensemble for establishing its position on Slovak music scene.
